If there’s one day you can cause havoc as an intern, and get away with it, it would be April Fools. So, last week I had just been given keys and alarm codes to the studio, I figured that’d be a good hook to play with. After about 20 minutes, two espresso’s, and 12pt Times New Roman, I was set. I showed up early and left a nice note on the door.

The note reads:

I was in late last night finishing up some nellies golf stuff an for some reason the wifi went down. I know I shouldn’t be fiddling with the network and wireless but I really needed to get these done. I guess I unplugged some things I shouldn’t have, after about 2 hours into the night playing with config files I managed to get the server back up…But I think there’s some thing missing like, where ACTIVE_PATIENTS used to be, is gone now. I hope this is an easy fix, but I don’t know what else to do. Anyways I’m exhausted so I won’t be In till later. Any idea what to try? I tried disconnecting, reconnecting, switching parts around and a bunch of stuff, but nothing seemed to work.

Please don’t kill me,
John

A little tid-bit of side info, “ACTIVE_PATIENTS” is the mother folder of anything and everything Burnkit is working on, so losing this is heart attack worthy, hence me saying it’s baleted. :)

Besides the fear of my two bosses firing me on the spot, it was pretty funny to see people come in shaking their heads muttering…. “you little bastard” hahaha. Next year will be big and over the top and I’ll be prepared, thanks to iCal.
