Ok, so I’ve been meaning to share some cool stuff I found in the last few weeks. Here are some links.
1. http://synergy2.sourceforg
Synergy: This is prob the one of the best apps I’ve found. Use synergy to share the keyboard, mouse, and clipboard between as many computers as you have. This saves tons of time when testing in IE, and just running other windows stuff on the side.
2. http://www.29digital.net/g
Grid Generator: automatically generates grids based on your own settings, control font size, column size, gutter size, # of columns. Saved me tons of headaches and math.
3. http://www.andrewingram.ne
Photoshop Grid Script: This baby works hand in hand with the previous link. Style up your grid in the generator then input the widths, gutters, etc into the Grid Script and it makes a new Document with all your settings. Invaluable.
4. IRC.
IRC is forums on crack, recently I’ve been getting some good advice and problems solved on IRC. These are the best rooms I’ve found.
5. http://www.quirksmode.org/
A list of supported css properties in different browsers, pretty awesome.
Hope you find them useful
